GET GAS CONNECTED
MEET THE CHAMPIONS
Working with Wales & West Utilities we can provide grants to qualifying households to help them connect their home to the mains gas network. You could qualify for a full or part payment towards the cost of a new connection, giving you access to a competitive energy market.
Our community champions are out and about working on the Warm and Safe Homes Project. We support qualifying households with free smoke alarms and CO detectors, check energy tariffs and ensure available financial benefits and grants are being claimed.
WELCOME TO WARM WALES
Warm Wales Ltd. was established in 2004 and are proud to be the oldest Community Interest Company (CIC) in Wales. Being a CIC means that our profits are reinvested in the communities in which we serve, making sure it’s those who require our help, and not shareholders, who benefit most.
We work with partners in the public and private sectors to help provide homes with affordable warmth and to alleviate fuel poverty. Amongst the current projects we are working on in conjunction with Wales & West Utilities Limited, is providing gas connection grants to help qualifying households connect to the gas network.
Warm Wales are also proud to be working on the Warm & Safe Homes project. We are visiting homes across South and North Wales to identify vulnerable households who are in need of support. We ensure they are the best energy tariff and are accessing all of the financial support they are entitled to.
