Craig Anderson BSc RIBA RTPI
Chief Executive Officer Craig joined Warm Wales in 2010,bringing with him a wealth of experience in both the private and public sectors, operating at Strategic Director level, with a number of Local Authorities and Development Boards in Wales, England & Scotland. He has established successful public/private strategic partnerships between local authorities, public agencies, government departments and EU directorates. Craig is a qualified and experienced Town Planner, Developer and Economic Regeneration professional with a proven track record of achievement in economic development, area regeneration, renewable technologies and multi-service performance.
Jonathan Cosson MSc BSC DEA DEC
Projects Director Jonathan started with Warm Wales in September 2015 and has 15 years’ experience of working in energy and carbon management within both the private and third sectors. He has worked at a senior management level and has extensive project development and management experience within the energy efficiency and renewable energy fields. Jonathan has designed, secured funding and managed the delivery of a multitude of energy reduction projects from a variety of sources including European Structural Funds (ERDF & RDP) The Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC), Big Lottery Fund and private sector funding. Jonathan is a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor and Display Energy Certificate assessor and has worked with a large number of Local Authorities and RSL’s. Jonathan also has experience of managing projects for large companies within heavy industry and manufacturing environments across the UK in order to reduce their utilities costs.
Helen Perkins B.Ed Prince2
Partnerships Consultant Helen has worked with Warm Wales since it was established in 2004. She has over 20 years expereince of project managment and has worked in the fuel poverty arena, managing several key projects inclusive of Bringing Warm Homes to Wales and Arbed1. Helen also has strong management and training & development experience working in various public offices including the DWP and the Public Service Ombudsman office. She was also the Regional Manager for the Gas Consumer Council (Wales) in 1993, a role she held for seven years. As Projects Director, Helen’s core responsibilities are gaining new business and leading projects as well as managing the delivery of the gas and heating grants scheme for our partner, Wales & West Utilities.
James Whelan BA (Hons)
Assistant Projects Director James started with Warm Wales in April 2009. He is an experienced project manager providing comprehensive on-site evaluation, design and measures, and contract administration. James has worked in both the private and public sectors, operating at strategic level, with a number of Local Authorities and Registered Social Landlords in Wales and England. He has a proven track record of achievement in mass retrofit, area regeneration and multi funded development. James has extensive experience of project management, strategic development and contract management, involving partnership working. His working experience has involved the design and delivery of various community based projects – where in recent times he has successfully managed the delivery of £10M of Arbed Phase1 and £5M of CESP whole house mass retrofit, including the installation of multiple energy saving measures across various tenure types.
Heather Beynon ACCA BA (Hons)
Financial Director (Designate) Heather heads up the Finance Department producing management accounts, budgets, forecasts and project costing to support the various projects. As a member of the Executive Team, Heather supports the directors and Warm Wales board with the organisation’s strategic direction. Heather works closely with Bill Harrison, Finance Director to assist in growth and development of the organisation. Heather is a qualified accountant and completed her ACCA training and exams working for Broomfield and Alexander, the largest independent accountancy firm in Wales. Heather has gained over 12 years’ experience in several business areas including charity and not for profit organisations. Heather is a Gold Medal winner for achieving the highest aggregate mark in her professional exams sat by 6,500 people across the world and also received the Julian Hodge prize for the highest mark in Wales. Heather also has a First Class BA Hons degree in Accounting and Finance.
Project Officer Patreia looks after the administration of the gas and heating grants scheme for private sector clients, customer service and general office administration. She joined Warm Wales in 2007 with a wide experience base of office management and administration skills which are very significant to her current duties. Alongside this experience, Patreia is qualified in Energy Awareness; Customer Services and Business Management.
Project Officer Wayne takes care of the gas and heating grants scheme administration for public sector clients and customer service at Warm Wales. Wayne joined Warm Wales in April 2011 as a permanent employee having completed a six month employment training scheme. His role is core to the administrative success of the different projects and Wayne’s background in building and construction is very important to his understanding of the projects and the deliverables. Wayne has several certificates including: C&G Award in Energy Awareness; HNC Building Studies; Certificate in CAD and ECDL.
