The Process
1. Marketing
Each area is visited for a period of intensive marketing to let people know and make them aware that the Community Warmth scheme is due to start in their area. This includes contacting many local groups to tell them and their members about the scheme, advertising and articles in the local press and launch events. We then send a mailing letter and information pack to every house included in the scheme with full details.
2. Assessment
Our team call at every house included in the scheme to invite residents to take part by completing our door step questionnaire. We also visit local groups within the community, places of work and shopping centres to maximise our success. Finally, we send out a self-assessment form to those householders we unfortunately cannot contact during the early stages of the scheme.
3. Survey & Installation

Our survey team then surveyed all homes which are eligible for Free insulation work. Our contractors then make appointments with householders to carry out the work.
