How We Can Help You
Our team of friendly and knowledgeable Community Workers offers a range of advice, support, and referral options tailored to the needs of the household. Our services are free and open to everyone in Wales. Some of the services we refer into have their own eligibility criteria – these usually relate to whether someone is on a low income, on certain means-tested benefits and / or has health conditions.
Our Community Workers will discuss your needs, the support that would be useful to you and run through the process of accessing other services before making referrals.
Support we offer includes:
Energy Advice and Affordable Warmth
Support with applications to grant-funded schemes, providing replacement boilers, central heating systems, and insulation to qualifying households; information and advice about smart meters and understanding bills; support to access discount schemes including the Warm Homes Discount
Money Maximisation
Reducing energy and water bills, support with debt, and support with housing as well as access to full benefits checks to make sure you’re claiming everything you’re eligible for.
Home Safety
Information and advice about carbon monoxide, excess cold, dampness and mould, and support to access home adaptions schemes.
Health and Personal Wellbeing
Improving mental health, physical health, wellbeing, and reducing isolation. We will support you to take control and make changes as well as access activities and support through Social Prescribing.
